I work from home, so I was thinking it'd be nice to get a notebook or something so that I could get out and get away from my home office every now and then, if I feel like it. That way I'm not always cooped up.

See, I've been using PCs ever since I started working with computers and I've been considering a Mac, but everything seems completely backwards to me, on those things.

The new Nanos are pretty, but I've heard some of 'em have actually caught fire because of some wiring problem on the board - somebody had theirs plugged in and charging and it started sparking, caught fire and was smoking and the end of it popped off and ashes and more smoke came out, even after the person unplugged it. I've got carpet, so I'm not keen on getting one of those if there's a possibility it'll blow up. lol I've been eyeing the new 120gb ones - they're a little less expensive but the size is good.
