Plot bunnies

Ok, here's the deal. I love plot bunnies. Especially pink ones. They're cute and fuzzy and small. Emphases on SMALL! I have a boring job, I love it but you can do it on autopilot. Which leaves time for plot bunnies to come visit. Lots of time, 8 hours of time, every day. Ok, like I said, I like plot bunnies. This morning, a plot bunny came to visit. A pink one at that. He gave me a cute little story to think about. And I had it done, in my head, by my first break. Then, between that and lunch, it jelled and finalized. Great! When I get home I can type it up quick and have a fun story for everyone. Riiiiight! Somehow, somewhen, I must've fed the plot bunny some radioactive carrots during lunch. Because, after lunch, the bunny mutated! And grew! It went from a cute little Energizer size plot bunny to some huge, Godzilla sized bunny!! All afternoon, the bunny grew and mutated and changed and wouldn't leave me alone! The story got longer and better (in my opinion anyways) but just would not leave my head! Ok, so I finally get home and think "I can finally get rid of this darn bunny!", but nooooo. While I'm typing the darn thing up, it's growing and mutating again! It now looks like I went from a story that would've been about 600-800 words to a chapter series! Sheesh. So, I'm trying to work on this bunny, plus trying to work on 2 other's I have running around too. Hopefully I can finish at least ONE of these up and send them out into the big scary world.
